According to UFC President and CEO Dana White, who is making his debut as a boxing promoter with his new company Zuffa Boxing, the Canelo-Crawford fight at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on 13/9 has risen to third place in boxing history for gate revenue. Allegiant Stadium has a capacity of nearly 65,000 spectators.

This fight trails only two classic bouts: Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao in 2015, which generated 72.2 million USD, and Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor in 2017, which brought in 55.4 million USD.
While the exact figures for Canelo-Crawford have not been released, it has undoubtedly surpassed the 27.1 million USD generated by Canelo-Gennady Golovkin in 2017, which held the third-place spot for many years.
White also revealed that this event is likely to surpass Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson to become the highest-grossing gate revenue fight in combat sports history held in a stadium. The Paul-Tyson fight last year earned over 18 million USD, breaking the record set by Canelo-Billy Joe Saunders in 2021 at 9 million USD, both held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The Canelo-Crawford fight has broken not only boxing records but also Allegiant Stadium’s own record. It surpassed WrestleMania 41, WWE's flagship event, which drew 124,693 fans over two nights in 4/2025 and previously held the record for the largest gate revenue in the stadium's history.

The World Boxing Council (WBC) also unveiled the design of the ring for the undisputed super middleweight champion following the Canelo-Crawford fight. This is the first ring in the WBC Crown Series, designed by Rasheen Farlow and crafted by Jason of Beverly Hills.
According to the WBC, the ring is made of gold and features nearly 10 carats of gemstones, including 8.5 carats of white diamonds and several blue stones representing the WBC belt's signature color. Four other colored stones represent the four major boxing organizations: WBC, WBO, IBF, and WBA. The ring's value is estimated to exceed 100,000 USD.
A unique feature is the ring's twisting top, which reveals an engraving of Allegiant Stadium with the boxing ring in the center and the names of Canelo and Crawford at either end of the stands. One side is engraved with the fight date, the Ring magazine logo, and boxing gloves, while the other side features the word "Undisputed," the WBC logo in diamonds, and the year of the event.
Another highlight is the official launch of Zuffa Boxing, a joint venture between Dana White and Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia. The event is being broadcast globally by Netflix, with a distinct UFC production style. For White, this is a turning point, bringing UFC, WWE, and now boxing under the TKO Holdings ecosystem, creating unprecedented synergy.
The Canelo-Crawford fight, therefore, not only holds sporting significance but also reshapes the organization, commercialization, and approach to boxing, bringing it closer to a global entertainment model like soccer or UFC.
From a sporting perspective, Canelo, with a record of 63 wins, two losses, and two draws, enters the ring as the undisputed super middleweight champion. Crawford, undefeated in 41 fights, is moving up two weight classes to challenge the champion—a decision considered the boldest of his career. It is this audacity that makes this fight an "unmissable" event.
