Cathay Happy Run makes its Hanoi debut after four seasons

Following four seasons in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang, the 5th Cathay Happy Run in 2025 will take place at Thong Nhat Park, Hanoi, on 21/12, with registration from 5/11 to 5/12.

The Cathay Happy Run is an annual race organized by Cathay Life Vietnam for its employees, partners, customers, and the sports community. This year's event carries the message "Unity Stride - Better Together", aiming to spread healthy living values and share positive energy.

The race features three distances catering to different groups. The 1,7 km "Family Run" provides a gentle activity space for families with children from 7 years old, encouraging parents to experience sports with their kids. The 7 km "Fun Run" is for new runners or groups of friends who wish to participate together. The 10 km "Challenge Run" targets those who enjoy a challenge and aim to improve their performance. Athletes completing the course will receive a race kit including: a running shirt, bib, fabric bag, gifts from the organizers, and a medal.

Beyond the race course, the event offers a children's play area, free health consultation zones, and old clothes donation activities for charity projects. This blend of sports, health, family, and social responsibility aims to foster a cohesive atmosphere, transforming the race into a community festival.

Since its first season in 2019 in Ho Chi Minh City, expanding to Da Nang, and now Hanoi, the Cathay Happy Run has steadily grown, becoming an annual event associated with an active lifestyle and a spirit of connection. Bringing the race to Hanoi marks a new milestone in its development journey, reflecting Cathay Life Vietnam's long-term commitment to the community.

The year 2025 also marks 17 years of Cathay Life's operations in Vietnam. Alongside its sustainable growth objectives, the company maintains numerous programs in education, health, and charity to create long-term value. Sustaining this annual race reflects its people-centric approach, helping to bring the spirit of healthy, connected living closer to the Vietnamese people.

The company anticipates the Cathay Happy Run 2025 will become a gathering point for sports enthusiasts, where the "Better Together" spirit spreads with every stride, fostering community solidarity.
