The American boxer landed 165 of 442 punches thrown, compared to Canelo's 132 of 347. Crawford's power punch accuracy reached 56%, surpassing Canelo's 49%.
In terms of punch distribution, Canelo landed more body shots with 71 compared to Crawford's 76 headshots. However, Crawford controlled the fight with precise punches to the face, landing 129 headshots that repeatedly disrupted Canelo's rhythm.
After 12 rounds without a knockout, Crawford won by decision with scores of 116-112, 115-113, and 115-113. The 37-year-old claimed all of Canelo's WBA (Super), WBC, IBF, WBO, and The Ring belts, becoming the new undisputed super middleweight (73-76 kg) champion.
Crawford improved his professional record to 42 wins with 31 knockouts. He also became the first male boxer in the four-belt era to hold undisputed titles in three different weight classes.
He previously dominated the light welterweight division (63.5 kg) in 2017 and the welterweight division (66.7 kg) in 2023. Turning 38 in two weeks, Crawford astonished experts by jumping two weight classes to defeat Canelo and conquer the super middleweight division.
"I told you, it's no fluke. This is my God-given night," Crawford said after making history, hinting at a possible retirement.

At Allegiant Stadium yesterday, Crawford's agile movement, proactive jab, and precise combinations allowed him to control the fight. From the seventh round, the American boxer even engaged in direct exchanges, further frustrating Canelo.
In the final rounds, Crawford continued his dominance, delivering a performance comparable to his 2023 victory over Errol Spence Jr. for the undisputed welterweight title.
For Canelo, the fight evoked memories of his 2013 loss to Floyd Mayweather. Once again, the Mexican boxer was neutralized by a smaller opponent.
"There's no loss here. I’ve done everything in my career and I’m willing to take risks. I did that today," Canelo stated.
