Despite the hot weather, the two mascots continuously performed dances and moved around the Expo area, interacting with athletes and supporters. Their cheerful, dynamic energy helped many feel refreshed. Many athletes took the opportunity to capture moments with the mascots before the official competition day.
Not only children, but many groups of runners and triathletes also queued to take photos. Some athletes even actively invited the mascots to pose or record short videos for sharing on social media.
Nguyen Minh Quan, a duathlon athlete from TP HCM, stated that the appearance of the two amusing mascots added vibrancy to the expo. "The two mascots were enthusiastic and lively, making the event's atmosphere even more vibrant," he commented.

The 2026 season marks DNSE's third consecutive year sponsoring the Aquaman Vietnam duathlon event. In previous seasons, 2023 and 2024, the two bull and bear mascots also joined DNSE at the event, appearing on gifts for athletes.

The bull represents growth trends and optimism, while the bear symbolizes periods of market correction. According to a DNSE representative, bringing these two mascots to Hoiana Aquaman created an interactive space with athletes, while conveying a spirit of perseverance and adaptability in the face of all challenges—essential qualities in both investment and endurance sports.

Hoiana Aquaman Vietnam 2026 took place on 26/7 at Hoiana Resort & Golf in Da Nang, bringing together over 1,500 athletes participating in Aquaman, Half Aquaman, Sprint Aqua, Flash Aqua, Rush Aqua, Aqua Kid, and relay distances. This marks the fourth season of Aquaman Vietnam and its first time being held in Hoi An.
