"Competing on the Tour doesn't guarantee financial success. You spend hundreds of thousands of USD each year on coaches, hotels, food, training, and physical therapists," Vickery told the New York Post at the 2025 US Open. "If I have another way to earn more money to support those costs, I'll do it. I don't see anything wrong with it."

Vickery is currently ranked 559th in the world. In over 14 years playing professionally, she's earned around 2 million USD in prize money. The highest ranking the 1995-born player achieved was 73rd.
"Tennis is an expensive sport. People don't understand that I'm investing the money I earn from those kinds of social media platforms back into tennis. They just think I'm doing it for the money," Vickery said. "If I have the ability to make money from it, why wouldn't I take advantage of the opportunity? It allows me to have a better life."
Last week, Vickery competed in the US Open qualifiers, reaching the second round. Earlier this year, the 30-year-old suffered a knee injury but returned to competition after only six weeks. Vickery plans to participate in the Guadalajara Open in Mexico in September. While waiting for the next tournament, she will continue to dedicate time to her "side hustle."
"I'm open-minded and don't care what other people think," Vickery added. "I would never speak ill of the women on there. If you don't want athletes on there, why not create a new system where players outside the top 100 are paid a decent wage?"
A monthly subscription to view the explicit content on this social media platform costs 12.99 USD.
Vickery reported earning a six-figure sum in her first three months on the platform, surpassing her tournament earnings. She is not alone in her success; several other well-known female athletes, including Canada's top pole vaulter Alysha Newman, also generate substantial income through the platform.
Female MMA fighter Paige VanZant also stated that she earned more in 24 hours on the platform than in her entire fighting career. American basketball star Liz Cambage revealed she made more there than in six years playing in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA).
Many female athletes have even left their sports to produce adult content due to the lucrative income. These include Marcela Soares, Madelene Wright (soccer), Paige Spiranac (golf), Kayla Simmons (volleyball), and Mikayla Demaiter (ice hockey).
