"I won't reveal the secret," Hart concluded. "But I can say the show will demonstrate FIFA's partnership with the global citizen project to billions of people across the planet."

The 2026 World Cup final will take place on 19/7 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, US. This stadium, with a capacity of about 93,000 spectators, previously hosted the 2025 Club World Cup final between Chelsea and PSG, along with friendly matches featuring Barca, Real, Man Utd, Arsenal, Man City, and Liverpool.

The US will host 78 World Cup matches, while Mexico and Canada will host the remaining 26. All matches from the quarter-finals onwards will be held exclusively in the US.

The 2026 World Cup will be the largest edition ever, featuring 48 participating teams, an increase of 16 from 2022. The draw on the evening of 5/12 divided teams into 12 groups. The top two teams from each group, along with the eight best third-placed teams, will advance to the round of 32, which is a knockout stage.
