FPT: LCP 2025 propels Vietnamese Esports forward

FPT Telecom chairman Hoang Viet Anh believes LCP 2025 is a turning point, helping Vietnamese Esports solidify its position and connect the younger generation with the corporation's digital ecosystem.

At a press conference in Da Nang on 19/9, Mr. Viet Anh expressed pride that one of the three teams in the LCP 2025 finals represents Vietnam. "All three teams in the finals are excellent contenders, making the matches even more dramatic and worth watching," he said.

According to Mr. Viet Anh, hosting the event in Da Nang not only allows local fans to experience a world-class tournament, but also contributes to the city's emergence as a global Esports destination. Da Nang was selected for its robust infrastructure, equipment, logistics, and the active support of local authorities.

For FPT Telecom, LCP 2025 is a strategic move to reach younger demographics, a key segment within their 50 million users nationwide. "Partnering with Riot Games to bring LCP to Vietnam is an opportunity to connect the younger generation with our digital services ecosystem and realize FPT's vision for gaming and Esports," Mr. Viet Anh emphasized.

The FPT Telecom leader believes the rapid growth of the domestic Esports movement positions Vietnam for international prominence with the right investment and strategy. This event not only has significance for Esports, but also promotes Da Nang – the "livable city" – to a global audience, paving the way for more international cultural, entertainment, and sporting events.

During LCP 2025 Finals Week, audiences will experience a vibrant Esports atmosphere at the competition venue, along with opening ceremonies blending traditional and modern elements. Besides watching the matches live, fans can participate in side activities and interact with players and key opinion leaders (KOLs). The matches will be broadcast globally with multilingual commentary.

The event is expected to deliver a world-class competition, production, and media experience, marking a milestone in the development of Esports in Vietnam and for FPT Telecom.
