Garmin Run 2025 kicks off in Vietnam

Garmin Run Vietnam 2025 will take place on 5/10 in Ho Chi Minh City with three distances, as part of a series of events across 10 major Asian cities.

The race features three distances: 5, 10, and 21km, catering to various skill levels. Organizers anticipate 6,000 runners. The newly introduced Couple Run (10km) offers a unique experience for couples, friends, and family. With the message "From Zero To Hero," the race encourages runners of all levels to push their boundaries and pursue higher goals, both in sports and life.

The race is scheduled for 5/10 at the Sala Urban Area in Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City. On 4/10, runners can participate in Expo Day, featuring various activities and a Garmin technology experience zone showcasing the latest smartwatches.

The Vietnam race is part of the Garmin Run Asia Series, held in 10 cities across Asia. Besides Ho Chi Minh City (representing Vietnam), the series includes Indonesia, Taiwan, Singapore, South Korea, the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Japan.

Since its inception in 2023 in three countries, the Garmin Run Asia Series has rapidly expanded, attracting over 110,000 participants in 2024 alone, becoming one of Asia's largest community running events.

Alongside the event, the sports watch brand will host the Garmin Asia Virtual Run from June to August, with 10km and 21km challenges. Top runners from each region will win flights and entry to Garmin Run Taiwan. Virtual Run participants can also record their actual performance, collect virtual medals, access training plans, and join a regional runner community.

Garmin Run Clubs in Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City are offering specialized, personalized online training programs for each distance and level to help runners prepare for the October race.

Founded in 1989, Garmin specializes in GPS technology. Over three decades, the brand has expanded into sports wearables, healthcare, and smart lifestyle devices. Its smartwatches, especially the Forerunner series, are a popular choice for runners, particularly those focused on performance. With advanced data measurement, fitness tracking, and performance optimization, the watches have become trusted companions for millions of athletes worldwide.

The brand also operates running clubs in three major cities with tens of thousands of members. These clubs meet weekly, connecting runners with coaches and elite runners, promoting a healthy lifestyle and a love of sports. Garmin regularly organizes large-scale sports activities, such as the Garmin Run series, to connect and expand the community.
