In the 64th minute, receiving a pass from $88 million newcomer Luis Diaz, Kane skillfully maneuvered past a Leipzig defender before placing a right-footed shot into the corner of the net, beating goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi.

Ten minutes later, the English striker executed a similar move, this time from a greater distance, curling a right-footed shot into the far corner. Kane completed his hat-trick in the 77th minute with a one-touch left-footed strike, sealing the 6-0 victory.
This is Kane's 8th hat-trick, matching his total from his time in the English Premier League. He has now scored 65 goals in 64 Bundesliga matches, at least 6 more than any other player in Europe's top 5 leagues since joining Bayern.
At the Allianz Arena yesterday, Bayern dominated, controlling 64% of the possession and taking 19 shots with 10 on target, compared to Leipzig's 12 shots and 1 on target. Before Kane's hat-trick, Bayern scored three goals in the first half thanks to Luis Diaz and a brace from Michael Olise.

Following their resounding Bundesliga debut, Bayern started the season perfectly by defeating Stuttgart 2-1 in the German Super Cup. "We wanted to send a message right from the start of the season, and we did," Kane said. "The whole team played at a high level and took advantage of opportunities very well. There's nothing to complain about a 6-0 win. After the break, when the score was 3-0, I told myself I had to score, and it was great to do that in the second half."
Coach Vincent Kompany emphasized the team's collective spirit and energetic play. "I hope the fans are happy because that's why we play," the Belgian coach said. "The players maintained their focus, playing as if they hadn't won anything. If we keep that up, we will win many games. But this is just the beginning."
Bayern's next match is an away game against third-division club Wehen Wiesbaden in the first round of the German Cup on 27/8.
