Mourinho appointed Benfica manager

Benfica announced the appointment of Jose Mourinho as head coach on a contract until the summer of 2027, with a clause allowing either party to terminate the agreement earlier.

According to Portuguese newspaper A Bola, Mourinho and Benfica have agreed to a clause that allows either party to unilaterally terminate the contract this summer, 10 days after the end of the 2025-2026 season.
