"Liverpool is truly collapsing", Neville commented on Sky Sports. "They are inconsistent and unreliable. Each mistake seems to trigger a cascade of others."
On 6/12 at Elland Road, Liverpool seemed in control after Hugo Ekitike scored two goals early in the second half. However, Ibrahima Konate's foul conceded a penalty, allowing Dominic Calvert-Lewin to score. Anton Stach then equalized at 2-2 just minutes later.
Liverpool regained the lead in the 80th minute with a low shot from Dominik Szoboszlai. However, in the sixth minute of added time, Ao Tanaka scored from a corner, denying the visitors a win.

The draw at Elland Road deepened Liverpool's crisis. Coach Arne Slot's team has won only 4 of their last 15 matches across all competitions, missing an opportunity to climb higher. They currently sit in eighth place, 10 points behind league leaders Arsenal.
"Liverpool had this match completely in hand with a 2-0 lead", Neville continued. "But they created their own problems. Slot must be in disbelief at what is happening to the team."
Coach Arne Slot acknowledged that complacency and recurring mistakes have cost Liverpool. "This is not the first time we have dropped points", he stated. "It is not the first time we have conceded a late goal, nor the first time from a set piece. Everyone understands the current atmosphere in the changing room."
The Dutch coach asserted that Liverpool had controlled the entire match before their own errors, emphasizing the team's responsibility. "After leading 3-2, we maintained good control", Slot observed. "However, there are always risks with long balls and second balls. Then, in 9 minutes of added time, they scored from a set piece. This has been the story of our season; the fault lies with us. We handed the opponent the opportunity."
Similarly, Dominik Szoboszlai felt Liverpool made a significant error by underestimating their opponent. "I do not understand what happened after we led 2-0", the Hungarian midfielder stated. "Perhaps we thought the match was over. The team responded well to regain a 3-2 lead, but conceding from a late set piece is unacceptable."
The 25-year-old emphasized the need for team-wide change: "Everyone must take responsibility, not just experienced players. All must be ready to fight for the club."

Meanwhile, Leeds continued their surge in the relegation battle. After their mid-week victory against Chelsea, Coach Daniel Farke's side secured another important point, moving up to 16th place and three points clear of the relegation zone.
Neville praised Leeds, stating: "Facing Man City, Chelsea, and then Liverpool, this was a week that could have determined Leeds' league future. However, they have revived their hopes with 4 valuable points. Farke demonstrated tactical flexibility, switching between 3-5-2 and 4-2-3-1, and they played exceptionally well."
