Puma hosted a special two-day event on 18-19/4 at Thiso Mall, offering the running community in TP HCM an exclusive experience with its Deviate Nitro 4 running shoes. Held daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., the event allowed participants to test the footwear in real running conditions within the Sala area, a location often called the "sanctuary" for local runners.
This activity was structured as a "real running course" rather than an enclosed testing space. Participants experienced the shoes on a 5 km route that began and concluded at Thiso Mall.

Renowned runners designed the course directly, considering Sala's terrain, to help users assess the shoes' ability to maintain speed and stability while running. Additionally, a short-distance testing area allowed participants to perform speed drills, feeling the shoes' responsiveness and propulsion.
Beyond the in-person event, Puma extended the experience nationwide with a 5 km running challenge on the UpRace online platform (developed by VNG), which ran from 18/4 to 2/5. Participants could register, complete the designated distance, and sync their running data to record results. Valid runs required meeting specific criteria for distance, route, and GPS data.

Puma stated that combining in-person and online formats aimed to broaden user reach and enhance engagement within the running community. The choice of Sala as the experience hub underscored a strategy of connecting with users through local running community activities. With the Deviate Nitro 4, Puma seeks to deliver a balanced experience of speed and control, allowing runners to not only achieve faster times but also feel stable and confident with each stride.
