The song, titled Cibeles, draws inspiration from the Plaza de Cibeles in Madrid, where Ramos celebrated five La Liga titles and four Champions League trophies with Real.

In the music video, Ramos sings and raps in Spanish, clutching prayer beads and staring intently into the camera. The video intersperses footage of highlights from his illustrious career in the Spanish capital.
In one verse, Ramos sings, "There are things I've never said, but they still hurt me. I never wanted to leave, you told me I had to fly away,".
The Spanish defender continues with lyrics seemingly aimed at his conflict with president Florentino Perez. "Luckily I left, because you no longer treated me like before. I'd rather die standing than live on my knees. You forgot me, abandoned me, didn't give me the right to choose. That's what hurts me the most," Ramos sings.
Tension between Ramos and Perez erupted in 2021. Ramos initially refused a pay cut in a contract extension offered by Real, but later changed his mind. Perez then informed him that the offer had expired. Ramos left on a free transfer, joining PSG and ending 16 years and a trove of trophies at the Bernabeu.
Ramos came through Sevilla’s academy, playing just one season (2004-2005) for the first team. He joined Real in 2005, making 671 appearances, scoring 101 goals, and winning five La Liga titles, two Copa del Rey trophies, and four Champions League titles.

Ramos played for PSG from 7/2021 to 6/2023, making 58 appearances and scoring six goals. He won two Ligue 1 titles and one French Super Cup. The Spanish defender played for Sevilla in the 2023-2024 season before joining Monterrey.
Ramos is not the first footballer to venture into music. Memphis Depay released several music videos while playing for Lyon and now Corinthians. Jesse Lingard also showcased his musical talents during his time at Manchester United, while former Real player Royston Drenthe pursued a rap career after retiring from football.
