On the evening of 11/8/2025, Rodriguez shared a photo on Instagram of her hand wearing a large diamond ring, placed on Ronaldo's hand, with the caption, "Yes, I do. In this life and all my lives".
The image quickly garnered over two million likes in just one hour. The 31-year-old model indirectly confirmed engagement rumors that had been circulating since 4/2025.

Shortly after, transfer news expert Fabrizio Romano posted, "Ronaldo has officially proposed to Georgina, and she said yes".
Ronaldo has previously hinted at marrying his Argentinian partner on several occasions. He once stated he was "1,000% sure" he would marry Rodriguez but hadn't set a date. In December 2024, at the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai, he even called Rodriguez "my wife" in front of thousands of spectators. Since then, he has consistently referred to her as his wife.
The couple met in 2016 when Rodriguez was working at a Gucci store in Madrid. After their chance encounter, they quickly became international media darlings. They currently live in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where Ronaldo plays for Al-Nassr.
Rodriguez has helped raise his 5 children, including their two daughters: Alana (7) and Bella (3). Bella's twin brother, Angel, passed away shortly after birth.
