The VnExpress Marathon Quy Nhon 2026 distributed race items in cool, favorable weather, allowing runners to fully enjoy the activities. Early arrivals formed long queues to enter the expo.

To prevent overcrowding, organizers arranged for runners to enter and collect bibs in batches.
Runners swiftly moved to their respective distance counters, presenting QR codes for verification. Organizers distributed bibs and race items in under one minute. Despite the large crowd, the expo remained orderly.
Runners across all distances excitedly displayed their race bibs. After its seventh season, VM Quy Nhon this year reduced the 42km distance, focusing instead on the 5km, 10km, and 21km courses, which are more suitable for a broader participant base.

Luong Thi Hao and Thanh Vinh, two runners from TP HCM, traveled to Quy Nhon to compete in the 21km race. They expressed their enjoyment of the coastal city's atmosphere and praised the scenic route, which traverses some of Quy Nhon's most beautiful areas.
The VM Quy Nhon expo also transformed into an energetic festival, with many young runners confidently showcasing their personalities.

Members of Tuy Phuoc Runner and Quy Nhon Morning Run checked in at the event. A club representative stated that VM Quy Nhon has significantly contributed to establishing running in the former Binh Dinh province. Since its inception in 2019, the marathon has introduced many to the sport and encouraged participation in the running movement. Consequently, local running has flourished, gaining wider recognition on Vietnam's marathon map.
A prominent backdrop, featuring the names of 8,000 runners, became a popular check-in spot for many participants eager to capture moments before the race.

A group of international visitors combined their trip with sports, seeing VM Quy Nhon as a unique opportunity to experience the coastal city beyond traditional activities like swimming and enjoying local cuisine.

Beyond collecting their race kits, runners also explored dozens of sponsor booths. These booths featured promotional programs, running accessories, and interactive minigames.

The expo will remain open until 5 p.m. on 12/9, with the race commencing at 4 a.m. on 13/9. This year's event has attracted 8,000 runners.
