Taekwondo star Chau Tuyet Van makes a splash at VnExpress Marathon Libera Nha Trang

Taekwondo athlete Chau Tuyet Van connected with fans and promoted a healthy lifestyle at the Herbalife booth during the VnExpress Marathon Libera Nha Trang expo on August 22 and 23.

World taekwondo gold medalist Chau Tuyet Van met with runners and fans at 3 p.m. on August 22 and 23 at the Herbalife booth during the VnExpress Marathon Nha Trang expo (Libera Nha Trang).

Chau Tuyet Van appeared on stage after being introduced by the MC, greeting the runners and spectators.

Many runners and their families cheered and called out the athlete's name.

Some held cameras, ready to rush the stage when their turn came for a photo.

She happily chatted and posed for photos with the athletes.

The "Sisters Who Make Waves" season 2 star then showed off her dance moves, joining Herbalife staff and runners.

Chau Tuyet Van said she has participated in several races sponsored by Herbalife. She noted the energetic atmosphere was comparable to the taekwondo competitions she has taken part in.

"The increasing number of participants in the race demonstrates its success and the community's enthusiasm. Despite a busy schedule, I try to join these events whenever I have time," Tuyet Van said.

Chau Tuyet Van (born in 1990, Ho Chi Minh City) is one of Vietnam's most prominent taekwondo athletes. Starting martial arts at the age of 7, she quickly proved her talent by winning numerous gold medals at the World Championships, Asian Championships, and SEA Games in poomsae.

Beyond her athletic achievements, Chau Tuyet Van recently appeared on the TV show "Sisters Who Make Waves" season 2, gaining further popularity.

The VnExpress Marathon Libera Nha Trang 2025 attracted 13,000 athletes and took place on the morning of 24/8. The race was an official event in Khanh Hoa Province's series of events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (2/9).

In addition to Chau Tuyet Van's appearance, Herbalife organized fun activities and cheerleading performances on the main stage, attracting hundreds of participants and thousands of spectators. Runners and attendees also had the opportunity to receive gifts such as tote bags, t-shirts, and nutritional products by participating in activities and checking in at the Herbalife booth.
