Matheus Cunha (USD 85 million). Cunha was one of Man Utd's three major attacking signings this summer, recruited from Wolves for a total fee of USD 85 million. The "Red Devils" even reserved the number 10 shirt for Cunha from the time Marcus Rashford had not yet completed his loan move to Barca.
The Brazilian forward has performed well, despite not scoring in the first three rounds of the Premier League. However, Cunha was injured in the 3-2 win against Burnley and will likely withdraw from the Brazil squad during the FIFA Days early this month.

Victor Osimhen (USD 87 million). Galatasaray signed Osimhen for USD 87 million on a four-year contract, making him the most expensive transfer in Turkish football history.
Osimhen was once a top striker in the world, culminating in his significant contribution to Napoli's Serie A title win in the 2022-2023 season. Last season, he played for Galatasaray on loan, scoring 37 goals in 41 games, helping the team win the Turkish national championship and cup.

Luis Diaz (USD 88 million). Diaz ended his more than three years at Liverpool to move to Bayern Munich for USD 88 million. The Colombian forward became Bayern's most expensive non-European signing in history. The previous record was held by Kim Min-jae, the South Korean center-back bought from Napoli for USD 55 million in the summer of 2023.
Diaz had a perfect debut, winning the German Super Cup and then scoring two goals and two assists in the first two rounds of the Bundesliga.

Eberechi Eze (USD 90 million). After selling Son Heung-min to Los Angeles FC and with James Maddison facing a long-term injury, Tottenham actively negotiated with Crystal Palace for nearly two weeks and came close to signing Eze.
But it was Eze's call to Arteta that prompted Arsenal's management to hold an emergency meeting and determine to snatch Tottenham's target. On 20/8, Arsenal swooped in and successfully signed Eze for a total fee of USD 90 million.

Bryan Mbeumo (USD 95 million). Bryan Mbeumo was the second forward to arrive at Old Trafford this summer, for a total fee of USD 95 million from Brentford.
The Cameroon forward played in all three opening rounds of the Premier League, scoring his first goal in the 3-2 win over Burnley at Old Trafford on 30/8. This was also the "Red Devils'" first win of the season in all competitions.

Benjamin Sesko (USD 99 million). Sesko is considered the final piece in Man Utd's attack, with a transfer fee of USD 89 million plus USD 10 million in add-ons. Considering only the base fee, Sesko is the seventh most expensive signing in Man Utd's history, after Paul Pogba (USD 122 million), Antony (USD 111 million), Harry Maguire (USD 101 million), Jadon Sancho, Romelu Lukaku (USD 99 million) and Rasmus Hojlund (USD 91 million).
Sesko has yet to score or assist, despite playing in the first round of the Premier League and the loss to Grimsby Town in the second round of the League Cup.

Nick Woltemade (USD 105 million). Newcastle signed Woltemade from Stuttgart for USD 99 million, potentially rising to USD 105 million depending on performance. This is the most expensive transfer in Stuttgart's history, far exceeding the previous record of USD 41 million when Benjamin Pavard moved to Bayern in 2019.
Tall but skillful, Woltemade has been likened by Stuttgart fans to a "6'6 Messi". The 23-year-old forward promises to make the most of crosses from Anthony Elanga, another USD 55 million signing for Newcastle.

Hugo Ekitike (USD 106 million). Ekitike was the first forward to arrive at Anfield this summer, for a total fee of USD 106 million from Frankfurt.
The French forward integrated quickly, scoring in his first three official matches - losing to Crystal Palace in the Community Shield and winning against Bournemouth 4-2 and Newcastle 3-2 in the first two rounds of the Premier League.

Florian Wirtz (USD 170 million). Liverpool broke a series of records when they bought Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen for a total fee of USD 170 million. This is the most expensive sale in Bundesliga history, the most expensive signing in Liverpool's history, as well as the Premier League.
But Liverpool broke this record not long after.

Alexander Isak (USD 175.5 million). On the last day of the summer transfer window, Isak officially became a Liverpool player for a Premier League record fee of USD 175.5 million. The Swedish striker will wear the number 9 shirt at Anfield, concluding one of the most tumultuous and protracted transfers of the summer.
