U22 Vietnam squad list for SEA Games 33

Coach Kim Sang-sik has called up 28 players for SEA Games preparations, and the squad will be trimmed to 23 before departing for Thailand.

The core of the U22 Vietnam team for SEA Games 33 consists of players who won the U23 Southeast Asian Championship 2025 in Indonesia last July. *Hai Tu*

The U22 Vietnam squad comprises players born from 2003 onwards. These players bring experience from the V-League, youth teams, and the Vietnam national team, which won the ASEAN Cup 2024 and the U23 Southeast Asian Championship 2025.

Nguyen Xuan Bac, born on 3/2/2003, is the oldest player in the squad. Dinh Quang Kiet, born on 16/7/2007, is the youngest. Kiet is also the tallest at 1,95 m and the heaviest at 84 kg.

Nguyen Thai Son and Le Van Thuan are the lightest players, both weighing 61 kg. Khuat Van Khang is the shortest at 1,68 m.

The team is currently training in Vung Tau until 30/11. On 1/12, coach Kim Sang-sik will finalize the 23-player squad traveling to Thailand. In Group B, Vietnam will face Laos on 4/12 and Malaysia on 11/12.
