Vietnam successfully qualified for all seven tournaments this year: the women's Asian Cup, U20 and U17 women's futsal Asian Cups, and the U23, U17, and men's futsal Asian Cups.
The men's Asian Cup will conclude in 3/2025 with a match between Vietnam and Malaysia. Coach Kim Sang-sik's squad has a strong chance to qualify if the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) disciplines Malaysia.
Vietnam did not qualify for the U20 men's Asian Cup; however, its qualifying round took place in 2024.

Vietnam stands as the only Southeast Asian nation to have qualified for all Asian tournaments in 2025. In contrast, regional rival Thailand failed to qualify for the women's Asian Cup.
The 11-a-side football teams collectively scored 71 goals in this year's Asian qualifiers, without conceding any. All seven national teams, including futsal, won 21 matches and drew one out of 22 games.
Across Asia, only Japan also qualified for seven tournaments this year.
