This year marks the first time Vietnam GameVerse is charging an entry fee. According to the organizers, this change aims to manage visitor numbers effectively and facilitate greater investment in experiential areas and community activities.
This year's event introduces several new features, most notably the inclusion of live professional esports tournaments: the Southeast Asia Esports Cup, the FC Mobile Invitation Cup 2026, and the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Spring 2026 National Finals. A dedicated fan meeting area is also designed for fans to interact with the players.
The wonderland entertainment zone has been expanded to include a series of cosplay activities and vibrant music. Concurrently, the business-to-business (B2B) and independent game developer spaces have been upgraded, notably featuring a dedicated stage for the GameHub pitch finals.
Scheduled for 8-9/5, Vietnam GameVerse 2026 carries the theme "Do Local - Go Global." It aims to enhance human resource quality, facilitate technology transfer, and promote the "Make in Vietnam" brand in the international market.
The event is jointly organized by the Authority of Broadcasting and Electronic Information, VnExpress, and the Vietnam Game Alliance.
