The program, hosted by the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), will take place on the morning of 9/5 in the 3rd-floor conference room of the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC).
The initiative targets not only children but also emphasizes the family's role in guiding gaming habits. Its content is designed to be experiential, combining education with interaction.

The first segment introduces children to game literacy, helping them understand video games correctly. This includes reasons for playing, safe and enjoyable gaming practices, and factors that can negatively impact them. The program also covers how to respond to cybercrime and appropriate online conduct.
The subsequent segment extends to parents, involving a "family gaming activity sheet". Through this, participating parents receive suggestions for setting reasonable playtimes, guiding appropriate content, and enhancing communication with their children.
Choi Jeong Ho, director of a psychological counseling center and an expert in psychological counseling and behavioral intervention programs related to youth game use, will be the speaker.
According to the organizers, the program is based on training models used in South Korea, focusing on developing reasonable gaming habits rather than prohibition. The initiative also highlights the role of family communication as a key factor in limiting negative impacts from video games.
Integrating game addiction prevention content into a large-scale entertainment event is considered a new experimental step, aiming to balance game industry development with social responsibility, especially concerning young players.
Vietnam GameVerse is a major annual event for Vietnam's game industry, directed by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. It is jointly organized by the Authority of Broadcasting and Electronic Information, VnExpress newspaper, FPT Online Joint Stock Company (FPT Online), and the Vietnam Game Alliance.
