This is the team's third training camp of 2025, primarily aimed at reviewing and assessing the squad in preparation for the remaining matches of the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers in October.
Therefore, the roster includes both core players and newcomers such as goalkeeper Quan Van Chuan (Hanoi FC), defenders Tran Hoang Phuc (Cong An TP HCM) and Dinh Quang Kiet (HAGL), midfielder Ly Cong Hoang Anh (Nam Dinh), and forward Pham Gia Hung (Ninh Binh). The team also welcomes back midfielder Doan Ngoc Tan and defender Phan Tuan Tai after their injuries.

As head coach Kim Sang-sik is busy leading the Vietnam U23 team in the 2026 AFC U23 Asian Cup qualifiers at the same time, acting head coach Dinh Hong Vinh will oversee the national team's training.
During the training camp at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center, the national team is scheduled to play two friendly matches: against Cong An Hanoi on 4/9 and against Thep Xanh Nam Dinh Club on 7/9. With their skilled players, especially their high-quality foreign contingent, these two teams will provide ideal sparring partners for Vietnam.
