Vietnam national team suffers heavy defeat against Nam Dinh FC

The Vietnam national team lost 0-4 to Nam Dinh FC in a friendly match at the VFF Stadium in Hanoi on 4/9.

*Goals: Romulo, Eid, Hudlin (two goals)

Nam Dinh FC started the match with a lineup composed entirely of foreign-born players. This included new signing Percy Tau, who played in the English Premier League for Brighton during the 2020-2021 season. Towering striker, 2.06 m Kyle Hudlin, started on the bench and entered the game in the second half. These players are either foreign nationals or of mixed heritage, such as defender Kevin Pham Ba.
