The 2025 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship takes place from 22/8 to 7/9 in Thailand. It features 32 teams from five continents, divided into eight groups. The top two teams from each group will advance to the round of 16.
The 16 teams eliminated in the group stage will not compete in further ranking matches. This format is considered challenging for newcomers like Vietnam. This year, coach Kiet's team qualified after finishing 4th in the 2023 Asian Championship, combined with Thailand hosting the 2025 World Championship.
