The partnership also creates opportunities for young The Cong FC players to train in Germany and experience the German football environment. In 2022, players from The Cong's academy, such as Nguyen Cong Phuong, Nguyen Manh Hung, and Dang Tuan Phong, trained with the Vietnam U17 team in Germany for over a month. The training, facilities, visits to the football museum, and match viewings provided motivation for the young players.
Bundesliga's official presence in Vietnam also opens up exchange opportunities. In 11/2022, Dortmund played a friendly match against the Vietnam national team at My Dinh Stadium. Later, the Vietnam women's national team also trained in Germany before the 2023 Women's World Cup, culminating in a 2-1 friendly loss against Germany in Frankfurt. Most recently, the Vietnam women's team played a friendly against Werder Bremen at Hang Day Stadium.
Founded in 1963, the Bundesliga is known for its passionate fans, fast-paced action, and authentic German style. It boasts one of the highest average stadium attendances globally, with nearly 40,000 people per match. This figure is significantly higher than Serie A or La Liga. Dortmund's Signal Iduna Park, with a capacity of 81,000, consistently sells out.
The Bundesliga has launched the careers of many young talents. Borussia Dortmund's Youssoufa Moukoko became the youngest goalscorer in Bundesliga history at 16 years and 28 days old. Some of the most prominent Bundesliga clubs include Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, and Bayer Leverkusen.
