VPBank unveils race kit for VPBank Hanoi International Marathon 2026

VPBank introduces the official race apparel, including t-shirts for the 5 km, 10 km, and 21 km distances, singlets for the 42 km distance, and finisher jackets exclusively for the VPBank Hanoi International Marathon 2026.

The VPBank Hanoi International Marathon (VPIM) 2026 will take place on 18/10, guiding athletes through iconic Hanoi landmarks. Partnering with VPIM for the second consecutive year as Diamond Sponsor, Coolmate introduces a new race apparel collection for all distances. This collection is designed to optimize performance for runners, meeting the demands of continuous activity in Vietnam's hot and humid climate.

Athletes in the 5 km, 10 km, and 21 km distances will wear t-shirts, while 42 km marathon runners will use singlets. All apparel is made from recycled polyester combined with water-repellent polyester. This material is lightweight, breathable, moisture-wicking, and quick-drying, ensuring comfort throughout the race. The fabric also helps the shirts maintain their shape and color after repeated use.

This season marks a first: VPIM will award Finisher jackets to athletes completing the 42 km distance, replacing the singlets given in previous seasons. The jacket features a striking neon color and is made from ultra-light polyester with a soft finish.

According to Coolmate, the product uses water repellent technology, compliant with AATCC 22-2005 standards, to effectively repel water in humid weather. In addition to its water-repellent properties, the polyester material also offers UV protection, making it suitable for runners during training and outdoor races.

A Coolmate representative stated that investing in the apparel system for the VPBank Hanoi International Marathon 2026 aligns with their strategy to develop running products. This strategy focuses on researching materials suitable for Vietnam's climate, activity characteristics, and the needs of Vietnamese runners.

"This is not just a partnership between a fashion brand and a race", a Coolmate representative said, "but a convergence of shared values such as the spirit of movement, the aspiration to break through, and the desire to build a healthier community every day."

The company added that the continued collaboration with VPIM initiates a long-term partnership aimed at enhancing the experience for the running community. It also helps bring sports apparel products developed by Vietnamese businesses closer to international-scale sporting events.

VPIM 2026 takes place as Vietnam's running movement continues to grow, both in scale and quality. Since 2018, VPBank has partnered with 17 major races nationwide. This number will increase to 20 in 2026, with races anticipated in Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Thap, and Hanoi.

Nguyen Thuy Duong, director of corporate communications and marketing at VPBank and head of the VPIM 2026 organizing committee, believes Coolmate's continued partnership will enhance the athlete experience, from the professional quality of the race to the competition products.

"When Vietnamese brands seriously invest in sports, the value athletes receive becomes more complete", a VPIM representative shared. "That is also VPBank's goal: to spread the spirit of healthy living and connect the community through increasingly professional events."

Beyond business operations, VPBank pursues a development strategy tied to community activities, with the mission "For a prosperous Vietnam". By 2026, the bank has allocated over 2 trillion VND to social welfare programs and supported the organization of numerous large-scale cultural and artistic events.
