What to know for your first time at LCP 2025 in Da Nang

The LCP 2025 Finals Weekend, taking place on 20/9-21/9 at the Tien Son Sports Palace, will attract thousands of local and international spectators with a variety of side activities.

On 20/9 and 21/9, spectators and League of Legends (LMHT) fans will experience a full esports festival combining culture, entertainment, and tourism. Here's what fans and attendees should keep in mind when coming to Da Nang for the LCP 2025 Finals Weekend.

Main events: The event kicks off with the opening ceremony at noon on 20/9. Fans can line up for check-in and purchase merchandise beforehand. Check-in officially opens at 12 p.m. The loser's bracket final, a best-of-five series, will take place between PSG Talon (Taiwan) and Team Secret Whales (Vietnam) at 4:30 p.m. the same day.

On 21/9, the event will reach its climax with the grand final, where the two strongest teams in the region will compete for the LCP 2025 championship trophy. Interspersed between matches are side activities taking place throughout the day, such as meeting players at the Fan Zone, shopping for merchandise, taking photos at the photo zone, and enjoying cosplay performances.

Getting around: Attendees have several convenient transportation options. From Da Nang International Airport, it only takes about 15 minutes to reach Tien Son Sports Palace by taxi or ride-hailing services. For fans coming from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, or other provinces, booking flights is relatively easy due to Da Nang's numerous flight connections. Many hotels within a 3-5 km radius of the competition venue allow spectators to easily travel and explore the coastal city's culinary specialties and famous landscapes.

Explosive performances: In addition to the matches, the LCP Finals Weekend also features artistic performances combining modern music and traditional cultural elements. Notably, singer Orange's appearance at the opening ceremony, performing the songs "Co dau thi dau mot minh" and "Loi nguoc dong", will energize the atmosphere from the very first moments.

Fans will also witness 10 cosplay performances recreating League of Legends characters on the main stage. Meanwhile, the Fan Zone will offer various interactive activities, minigames, and souvenir stalls for fans to check in, collect gifts, and connect with the community.

Connecting with the LMHT fan community: Attending the LCP 2025 Finals Weekend not only allows spectators to watch intense matches featuring the strongest teams from Asia-Pacific, but it also provides the opportunity to experience a true esports festival atmosphere. With Vietnam hosting the Asia-Pacific regional finals for the first time, this event holds special significance for the domestic gaming community.

Da Nang, known as a "livable city", boasts attractions like My Khe beach, Dragon Bridge, Marble Mountains, and the ancient town of Hoi An, located not far from the city center. These elements promise to turn the trip for both domestic and international fans into a memorable esports-tourism vacation. Local specialties such as bun mam nem (vermicelli noodles with fermented fish sauce), banh cuon thit heo (steamed rice rolls with pork), com ga (chicken rice), and sua dau (soy milk) were also recommended to fans by TSW player Taki, who is competing in his hometown.

This will be a complete esports "feast", combining sports, culture, and entertainment, making it an event that League of Legends fans shouldn't miss.
