Runner Thao Uyen confidently posed with the board printed with the names of nearly 5,000 21km runners. The female runner hopes to conquer the distance within the allotted time and capture many beautiful photos.

Singer Ai Phuong arrived to collect her 21km bib on the afternoon of 19/7. The singer then spent time signing autographs, taking photos with runners, and participating in various activities.

Tran Duyen, the 21km champion at VM Quy Nhon 2025, showed off her bib near My Khe beach. The "running teacher" continues to be a top contender for this distance.

"Running hot girl" Vy Phan sported beachwear when she received her 42km bib. The runner, originally from Gia Lai, is a contender for the overall ranking. Vy assessed Da Nang's weather as quite hot, a major obstacle to achieving a high performance.

My Duyen, another elite runner, also attracted attention with her youthful outfit. Duyen is among the group with the best current marathon records. Her goal is to conquer the top 5 overall.

Tran Thi Thu Ha and Nguyen Thi Phuong Nga are running the 21km together. The route will take athletes to explore the beauty of the "city of bridges" as it mostly follows the Han River.

Runner Hoang Loan was excited to receive her 21km bib. This is the distance with the largest number of athletes. This distance is suitable for those who have trained for about six months or more, long enough to explore the beauty of the city.

As the afternoon progressed, the atmosphere at the Expo became more lively. Despite the large crowd, the runners remained energetic.

Runner Nguyet Nguyen checked in at the colorful entrance gate of the VnExpress Marathon Da Nang.

Runner Hoang Sa showed off her 5km bib. The young woman views conquering this distance as a new summer experience, finding motivation to maintain regular running.

The VM Da Nang takes place during the peak of summer tourism. Many runners took the opportunity to explore the sights and cuisine of Da Nang after receiving their bibs.

The race attracted 11,000 athletes. After the bib distribution day, the different distances will start sequentially on the early morning of 20/7. The 42km starts earliest, at 2:30 a.m.
