During the victory parade on 11/5, Lamine Yamal displayed a shirt with the message: "Thank God I'm not a Real fan."
This action was seen as a taunt aimed at Real's fans. Real had just lost 0-2 in the El Clasico and watched their rivals, Barca, secure the championship three rounds early.

Earlier, immediately after the El Clasico match at Camp Nou on 10/5, Yamal posted a photo celebrating the victory with a crying-laughing emoji and the caption: "Easy to say." This gesture targeted Jude Bellingham, Real's star midfielder.
In 10/2025, after the first leg of the El Clasico, which Real won 2-1, Bellingham had posted a message attacking Yamal's previous post: "Easy to say. Hala Madrid, forever."
Yamal missed the recent El Clasico due to injury. However, even without their crucial player, Barca secured a victory thanks to a superb free-kick from Marcus Rashford and a Ferran Torres volley within the first 18 minutes of the first half.
Barca currently leads the 2025-2026 La Liga with 91 points after 35 rounds, 14 points ahead of second-place Real. Therefore, even if Real wins their three final matches, they would still trail by at least five points.
The La Liga title is the second trophy Barca successfully defended this season. Previously, Yamal and his teammates defeated Real 3-2 in the Spanish Super Cup final.
While Barca secured a domestic double, Real finished the season without any trophies. They placed second in La Liga, lost in the Spanish Super Cup final, were eliminated by second-division team Albacete in the round of 16 of the Copa del Rey, and knocked out by Bayern in the Champions League quarterfinals.
Yamal concluded the season with an individual record of 24 goals and 18 assists in 45 matches. The 18-year-old forward improved his finishing ability compared to his 18 goals and 25 assists in 55 matches during the 2024-2025 season.
