The moment of brilliance occurred in the 53rd minute when Yamal received the ball on the right wing and broke into Galatasaray's penalty area. The young player surprised defenders by faking a rabona pass.
A rabona is a technique where a player crosses one leg behind the standing leg to kick or pass the ball. Instead of completing the full motion, Yamal used the feint to deceive defender Eren Elmali. He then dribbled along the byline and delivered a precise pass for Gordon to score, extending Barca's lead to 3-1.
This unique move quickly spread across social media, prompting Yamal himself to consider a name for it.

When Movistar replayed the sequence for him after the match, Yamal laughed, admitting he didn't know what to call the move. The Spanish forward humorously dubbed it a "half rabona," explaining that it was entirely spontaneous, not a pre-planned play.
"Perhaps I'll call it 'almost a rabona'. It worked. The important thing is that I assisted Gordon," the 19-year-old winger stated.
This was Yamal's second assist in just three minutes. In the 50th minute, the Spanish forward delivered a left-footed cross into the box for Fermin Lopez, putting Barca ahead 2-1. Yamal's two moments of brilliance at the start of the second half completely shifted the game's momentum.
Yamal, despite not scoring, was named Man of the Match. The 19-year-old star continues to demonstrate his ability to make a difference not only through goals but also with creative passes and unpredictable plays.
His performance in Istanbul also helped Yamal set a new Champions League record. At 19 years and 92 days, he became the youngest player to contribute to 25 goals in the competition, with 12 goals and 14 assists. The previous record was held by Kylian Mbappe, who achieved it at 20 years and 306 days.
Yamal acknowledged that the atmosphere at Rams Park presented challenges for Barca. "We knew this was one of the toughest stadiums we could go to," he said. "The team talked about it in the locker room, about their pressure and the shouts from the stands. We are happy with this win. Galatasaray is a quality team."

Coach Hansi Flick lauded Yamal after his explosive second-half performance. According to the German manager, Yamal's spontaneous plays did not surprise him, as the 19-year-old forward consistently displays similar skills in training.
"Lamine played wonderfully. It's incredible to have a player of that caliber. He changed the game," Flick stated. "His control of the game, delivering decisive passes, is hard to believe. I am very happy to have Lamine in the squad."
The 4-1 result marked Barca's tenth consecutive win this season, comprising eight La Liga matches and two Champions League fixtures, with 43 goals scored. Notably, the team's offense remains potent despite the departures of Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres, with no direct central striker replacements brought in. Seven Barca players have scored at least two goals, including defender Joao Cancelo.
Flick was not surprised by this form, as he consistently trusts the squad's quality and what his players demonstrate in training. However, the 61-year-old coach cautioned Barca against complacency. "Football can change very quickly. We are proud of what we have, but our ambition is greater. We want to win titles, and we haven't won anything yet. Major titles are only decided in May or June," he commented.
Greater challenges await Barca. Following the match against Betis on 17/10, Flick's squad will face PSG in the third Champions League qualification round, then compete in El Clasico against Real Madrid in the 10th round of La Liga.
