Doctors at University Medical Center Ho Chi Minh City successfully performed a heart transplant from a donor in Hanoi, saving an 11-year-old boy early on the seventh day of the Lunar New Year.
A 15-year-old boy with end-stage heart failure, whose heart stopped on the operating table while awaiting a transplant from a brain-dead donor, was successfully saved by doctors.
