A team dedicated to searching for and collecting martyr remains has discovered numerous artifacts and a bone fragment believed to belong to a martyr within a shelter tunnel in Phu Thuan commune.

During the excavation of an unidentified grave at Nui Nai Martyrs' Cemetery, authorities discovered a tarp bearing handwritten text.

Based on a comrade's testimony, authorities demarcated, excavated, and found the remains of martyr Nguyen Thi Ut, who died in a raid in 1969 at the age of 19.

The National Assembly Standing Committee has approved broader criteria for recognizing martyrs, extending the status to war invalids who die from recurring injuries and individuals who sacrifice their lives while performing duties under special circumstances.
