The Politburo has appointed Quan Minh Cuong, Secretary of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee, as Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee. He replaces Vu Dai Thang, who was elected Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee.
