Following additional feedback, the Ministry of Home Affairs has proposed to the government a one-day Vietnamese Culture Day holiday on 24/11, without swapping working days.
The government proposes adding Vietnamese Culture Day, November 24, to the revised Labor Code, increasing the total number of paid public holidays for workers from 11 to 12 days annually.
The Ministry of Home Affairs proposes announcing the Tet holiday schedule before September 30 annually, allowing civil servants, workers, citizens, and businesses to plan their production and rest.
