For the past two weeks, Ho Chi Minh City's 102 new wards and communes have been busy transferring documents, installing signage, and cleaning in preparation for the administrative changes taking effect on 1/7.
After merging with Hoa Binh and Vinh Phuc, the new Phu Tho province has 148 communes and wards. Xuan Dai is the largest, spanning over 209 km2, while Au Co is the smallest at 12.51 km2.
