Despite 13 cold air spells, northern Vietnam's 2025-2026 winter saw average temperatures higher than the multi-year average, with some areas recording increases of 1,5-2,5 degrees Celsius.

During the first work week after the Tet holiday, northern Vietnam will experience persistent drizzle and fog at night and in the morning, while southern Vietnam will continue to see hot weather with temperatures ranging from 33-36 degrees C.
