A cold air mass from the north is expected to move southward around 21-22/10, bringing a mild impact to Northern Vietnam. The sky will become cloudier, and temperatures will drop slightly, generally remaining below 33 degrees Celsius.
Following 22/10, as the cold air mass weakens, Northern Vietnam is expected to return to dry and sunny conditions, with temperatures rising to 32-34 degrees Celsius and lasting until the weekend.
The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting anticipates that Northern Vietnam will remain under the influence of a weakening cold air mass and stable high-altitude air until 20/10. The region is expected to have minimal rain, light morning fog, and sunny days, with temperatures peaking at 32-34 degrees Celsius.
Northern Vietnam experienced minimal rain and abundant sunshine last week, with temperatures generally ranging from 32-34 degrees Celsius, and some areas reaching 35 degrees Celsius. Average temperatures since early October have been one to two degrees Celsius higher than the multi-year average.

From approximately 21/10, the influence of the cold air, combined with easterly winds, is expected to extend northward, causing thunderstorms to spread across North Central Vietnam. On 21-22/10, areas from Thanh Hoa to TP Hue will see scattered showers and thunderstorms, with some localized heavy rainfall, while the South Central Coast continues to experience widespread thunderstorms.
Southern Vietnam and Lam Dong will be influenced by a low-pressure trough situated around 6-8 degrees North latitude.
