Ho Chi Minh City is considering adjusting the Thu Thiem master plan to build a centralized administrative center, with construction expected to begin in Quarter 1/2026.
A reunification monument, symbolizing the nation's spirit of unity and aspiration for peace, will be built on over 6,000 m2 in Thu Thiem, with a maximum height of 7 stories.
