Four former tennis players, Ly Hoang Nam, Trinh Linh Giang, Truong Vinh Hien, and Phuc Huynh, have advanced to the men's singles semifinals of the PPA Asia - Vietnam Open 2025.

Pickleball player Trinh Linh Giang reached the finals in both men's singles and mixed doubles at the Hong Kong Open on August 23rd.

Ly Hoang Nam defeated Jimmy Liong Kai Long to set up a semi-final clash with top seed Trinh Linh Giang at the PPA Tour Asia Hong Kong, Tuesday morning.
