Members of the Vietnam national team celebrated with family and took turns lifting the trophy at My Dinh Stadium on 26/8, after winning the ASEAN Cup 2026.

Despite a 0-2 loss in the first leg on the evening of 16/8, coach Tan Cheng Hoe affirmed Malaysia's chances remain alive with the return leg on Vietnam's home ground.

For privacy, coach Kim Sang-sik unexpectedly moved the training ground to My Dinh ahead of the first leg of the ASEAN Cup 2026 semi-final against Malaysia.
