The training session on the afternoon of 11/8 was originally scheduled to take place at the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) Youth Training Center. However, with the Vietnam women's national team and several clubs also training on adjacent fields, coach Kim made a last-minute decision to move the team to My Dinh Stadium, located a few hundred meters away.

Before the training session, the team welcomed young fans. Coach Kim and players Xuan Son, Dinh Bac, among others, happily signed autographs and took photos.

Some players from Cong An Ha Noi FC, including Quang Hai, Le Pham Thanh Long, Hoang Hen, and Van Hau, took the opportunity to watch their club compete against host Adelaide United (Australia) in the AFC Champions League Elite play-off match. The Vietnamese representative secured a 2-0 victory, earning a spot in the AFC Champions League 2026-2027 group stage.

Coach Kim spent about 5 minutes briefing and motivating the players before the training session began at 17h.

Players warmed up without the ball in a relaxed and cheerful mood.

Center-back Bui Hoang Viet Anh (CAHN) and midfielder Nguyen Tai Loc (Ninh Binh) showed a close bond despite playing for different clubs. They often trained and joked together, with Viet Anh even teaching Vietnamese to the midfielder of Brazilian origin.

The players then warmed up with "ghost ball" drills, a type of passing game. The team was divided into three groups for this familiar exercise, designed to enhance quick and skillful ball handling in tight spaces.

Captain Nguyen Quang Hai showcased his skills in front of younger teammate Nguyen Dinh Bac.

Witnessing the players' enthusiastic and lively atmosphere, coach Kim also wanted to join in, then clapped to encourage them.

Afterward, the team requested media and spectators to leave, conducting a closed-door technical training session.

According to the schedule, Vietnam will have one more training session before departing for Kuala Lumpur on 13/8. The team will face host Malaysia in the first leg on 16/8.
