‘Taking mom away’ – a film about an Alzheimer's patient starring Hong Dao – earned nearly 80 billion VND after its three-day release.

"Taking Mom to Abandon", starring Hong Dao and Korean actor Jung Il Woo, competes with "Freakier Friday" and "Demon Slayer" at the Vietnamese box office this August.

Jung Il Woo, the South Korean star of "Unstoppable High Kick", learned to sing the Vietnamese song "Le Da" and requested Vietnamese dialogue for his new film.
