From early morning on 1/5, Yen So Park welcomed a large number of visitors, primarily families, who came to play, set up tents, and relax in pleasant, mild sunshine.

Many families chose this location for its child-friendly space, short travel distance, and available camping gear rental services.

With its spacious grounds, abundant trees, and shade, this park is an ideal destination for relaxation and enjoying fresh air in the heart of the capital.

Nguyen Thi Thanh Tu stated that although she lives about 50 km from the park, the journey was convenient with clear roads.

Many families prepared their own food and cooked on-site to enjoy the holiday in the open air. Le Thi Thanh Huong, from Hoang Liet ward, joined four neighboring families for camping and lunch directly in the park. She noted that this was the first year her family chose this option for the holiday. The spacious environment, not as crowded as major tourist areas, made everyone feel comfortable.

Thong Nhat Park, a large green space in the city center, also attracted many residents on 1/5. Located centrally, it offered an accessible escape.

Expansive, airy lawns under green trees were chosen by many families as spots to spread mats for relaxation and play.

Nguyen Van Huynh, a resident of Van Mieu ward, explained that in previous years, his family would usually visit their hometown. This year, however, they decided to stay in Hanoi to avoid the crowds and traffic congestion. He and his relatives arrived at the park early in the cool, dry weather.

Just over 10 km away, Thu Le Park also attracted many Hanoi residents and tourists for recreation and sightseeing. Areas housing animals like elephant and sika deer enclosures saw the largest crowds. Many families brought young children to experience feeding vegetables and fruits to the animals through protective fences.

According to park regulations, visitors are allowed to bring food but must ensure environmental cleanliness afterward. The entire area of sidewalks and lawns around the lake saw large crowds gathering for midday rest.
