A sea of people watched the fireworks. This was the second fireworks event hosted by Vinhomes Green Paradise in 2026, following the Tet Nguyen Dan celebration. Many residents stated that the urban area brings "new vitality" to Can Gio by regularly hosting engaging events and festivals.

After the fireworks, people gathered at food stalls to enjoy local cuisine.

On the morning of 1/5, the area hosted the VnExpress Marathon Green Paradise Can Gio, attracting 5,000 runners, making it the largest event of its kind in Can Gio. This new sports tourism event aims to promote the local image. Its unique route traverses the Vinhomes marine urban area and runs through Rung Sac mangrove forest.

Vinhomes Green Paradise spans 2,870 hectares, planned as an international, ecological, smart, multi-functional marine urban area, adhering to ESG++ standards. The urban area integrates residential, accommodation, commercial, tourism, healthcare, and educational spaces. It also serves as an ideal location for runners, envisioned to become a new tourism icon attracting 40 million visitors annually.
