Inside Singapore's bus hotel

The hotel, converted from 20 old buses, offers seven room categories with prices starting from approximately 4 million Vietnamese dong per night.

The Bus Collective is a luxury hotel converted from 20 old buses previously owned by SBS Transit, Singapore's public transport operator.

The entire 8,600 square meter complex is located within Changi Village, one kilometer from Changi Airport and 1.8 kilometers from Changi Beach. It is also near popular tourist attractions such as Changi Village Hawker Centre, Changi East Boardwalk, and Changi Chapel & Museum.

From the hotel, guests can easily access other attractions, including the Singapore Expo and Convention Centre 9 kilometers away, the Singapore Flyer 23 kilometers away, and Tanah Merah MRT station 11 kilometers away.

The hotel currently features seven room categories, each offering distinct services and amenities. Each room measures 45 square meters and accommodates three to four guests.

From 3/2 to 8/2, many attendees of the Singapore Airshow were accommodated at this hotel by the organizers. Numerous guests enthusiastically shared photos of the hotel on social media.

The Adams Drive room, designed for four guests, retains several original bus features such as the steering wheel, windows, and driver's seat.

The Queen Victoria room (pictured) accommodates three guests with a large bed, a sofa bed, and an open bathtub. The Hamilton Place room is designed for guests with disabilities, featuring an external restroom and a ramp for wheelchair access.

The Pioneer North room includes grab bars in the toilet and shower areas, catering to the needs of elderly guests.

Sofa beds are provided in the Queen Victoria and King George rooms. Prices for each room at this bus hotel range from 4 to 7 million Vietnamese dong (approximately 160 to 280 USD) per night.

Outdoor recreational spaces are available for dining and relaxation, varying by room category.

Guests can participate in guided programs, including cycling tours around Pulau Ubin, an island off Singapore's coast, and other experiential tours such as exploring local culinary culture or kayaking at the Changi Sailing Club.

On booking websites like Agoda and Booking, the hotel has an average rating of 8.2 points. Many guests expressed excitement about this novel experience, deeming it suitable for business travelers. However, groups or families seeking a relaxing vacation might prefer more spacious hotels closer to the city center.
