Vietravel Airlines expands domestic and international routes

Vietravel Airlines continuously launches routes from Hanoi to Buon Ma Thuot, Cam Ranh, and strengthens its fleet to meet peak summer travel demand.

On 15/6, Vietravel Airlines launched a new route connecting Hanoi and Buon Ma Thuot, and relaunched the Hanoi - Cam Ranh route. A representative stated this is a strategic step in the airline's Q3 domestic network expansion plan, aiming to serve diverse passenger needs for tourism, visiting relatives, and business travel.

Flight VU1213 from Hanoi to Buon Ma Thuot, carrying 220 passengers, landed safely at 14h20 on 15/6. This marked the airline's first flight connecting the capital with the Central Highlands' main city. To welcome passengers to the mountainous region, the airline presented each person with a brocade scarf, a symbol of local culture. On the same day, 200 passengers on flight VU1271 from Hanoi to Cam Ranh enjoyed refreshing beverages prepared by the cabin crew. The company aims for each flight to be more than just a journey; it should also be a space for unique local cultural experiences.

A Vietravel Airlines representative stated the Hanoi - Buon Ma Thuot route will operate one flight daily, while the Hanoi - Cam Ranh route will have two flights daily. To accommodate the summer peak season, the airline has increased the frequency of the main Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City route to five flights daily. Routes connecting Da Nang from both ends of the country have also increased to two flights daily, ensuring flexible schedules for travelers.

In the international market, Vietravel Airlines is demonstrating rapid growth. In June, the airline began selling tickets for the Ho Chi Minh City - Shenzhen (China) route, with commercial operations expected to start on 15/8. Additionally, the airline is operating a series of charter flights connecting Hanoi with Lanzhou (Gansu, China) from 20/6.

Beyond expanding its flight network, Vietravel Airlines prioritizes enhancing operational capacity through its fleet expansion plan. By late June, the airline expects to receive an additional aircraft. In the second half of the year, the company plans to add 7 more Airbus A321 aircraft to optimize flight schedules and increase operational flexibility.

For its long-term strategy, Vietravel Airlines aims to reach a fleet of 50 aircraft by 2030, including both narrow-body and wide-body models. The airline also seeks guidance from authorities on procedures for adjusting project scope and increasing investment capital to meet development needs. Strong participation from new investors will help the airline consolidate financial resources, expand its scale, and enhance its competitiveness in the aviation market.

"The synchronized combination of increasing fleet size and expanding the flight network promises a vibrant summer for passengers. We aspire to remain a trusted travel companion, providing quality flights at optimal costs for both domestic and international tourists", a Vietravel Airlines representative said.
