On 9/6, the online travel service platform Tripadvisor announced its Travelers' Choice Awards Best of the Best 2026 Hotels. Vietnam had two representatives on the prestigious list: La Siesta Hoi An Resort & Spa in Hoi An, ranking 6th, and La Sinfonia del Rey Hotel & Spa in Ha Noi, securing the 10th position.
The 2026 Best Hotel Awards are part of Tripadvisor's broader Travelers' Choice Awards system. Selections are based on the quality and quantity of user reviews and ratings submitted to Tripadvisor from 1/1/2025 to 31/12/2025. This comprehensive evaluation considered a total of 8 million accommodation and service establishments on the platform.

Vu Nguyen Nha Anh, Communications Manager at La Siesta Hoi An Resort & Spa, highlighted the significant meaning of this list. It reflects direct recognition from international travelers, rather than assessments from expert panels or judging organizations.
"In the hospitality industry, especially in the luxury resort and service segment, customer experience is always the top priority," Nha Anh stated. A Vietnamese hotel ranking among the world's best demonstrates the potential of local businesses to compete effectively with established international brands. Representatives from the hotel also affirmed their commitment to regularly analyzing reviews on digital platforms to continuously improve services.

The 1st spot on the list was awarded to G.H Universal in Bandung, Indonesia. This hotel boasts Renaissance architectural design and offers 105 rooms, extensive gardens, a swimming pool, a spa center, a fitness room, and a 24-hour restaurant. Notably, it also operates The G.H. Universal Pet Inn, Indonesia's only luxury pet hotel.
Beyond the main Best of the Best award, the Travelers' Choice Awards 2026 Hotels also feature several sub-categories. Several Vietnamese establishments received recognition in these categories: La Siesta Classic Hang Thung (16th, Luxury category); Hanoi Central Hotel & Residences (18th, Family-Friendly category); and Sapa Centre (1st, Small Stays category).
