Wink Hotels began operations in 2021 in Da Kao ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, featuring a vibrant aesthetic. After more than four years, the brand has expanded into a chain with 6 hotels across Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Tuy Hoa (Phu Yen), Can Tho, and Hai Phong.
Wink Hotels positions itself as a "made in Vietnam" hotel brand, targeting young travelers, domestic and international business professionals, and tourists interested in culture and fashion. A key aspect of its model is the application of technology in operations to optimize the stay experience, while maintaining commitments to sustainable development and engagement with local communities.

According to Michael Piro, CEO of Wink Hotels, the idea for the brand originated from his personal experiences traveling and staying in hotels worldwide. He observed that waiting for fixed check-in times, navigating extensive procedures, and encountering unused spaces often reduced relaxation time. Consequently, Wink Hotels was developed as a flexible accommodation model, tailored to the pace of modern travelers.
Guided by this vision, the hotel chain implemented several design and service enhancements. All properties are equipped with co-working spaces, meeting rooms, high-speed WiFi connectivity, and in-room desks featuring integrated USB Type-C charging ports. The 24-hour stay model allows guests flexible check-in and check-out times. Amenities operate continuously, including a bar, gym, self-service laundry, vending machines, and a quick shopping area. Some hotels also offer swimming pools and rooftop bars.

Beyond functionality, Wink Hotels focuses on integrating local cultural details into its spaces. Interior design, executed by the French firm AW2, draws inspiration from traditional Vietnamese general stores. It combines familiar everyday objects like plastic tables and chairs, birdcages, and street vendor carts, reinterpreted through a contemporary design language.
A Booking.com survey indicates that 67% of Vietnamese guests prioritize rest as the main purpose of their trips. Therefore, the sleep experience is a central focus at Wink Hotels. Guest rooms feature premium mattresses from the Catherine Denoual Maison brand. Despite being positioned in the mid-range hotel segment, the investor, Indochina Capital, selected the same mattress standard used in 5-star hotels developed by the group, ensuring high-quality rest for guests.

Additionally, the entire Wink Hotels system has achieved US LEED Gold certification for Green Buildings. This standard rigorously assesses factors such as energy efficiency, water management, air quality, and environmental impact throughout operations. According to the operating unit, this approach addresses the current trend of sustainable tourism among travelers.
