"I can confirm that at this time, all conditions seem to be in place for the princess to continue her studies at Harvard," Xavier Baert, the Belgian Royal Family's communications director, said on 19/8.

In May, when the Trump administration announced the ban on Harvard University recruiting and training international students, the Belgian Royal Family expressed concern that Princess Elisabeth, as a Belgian citizen, might not be able to continue her studies there.
The Trump administration said the ban was intended to promote change at Harvard and other top universities across the US, institutions accused of being "far-left" and antisemitic. Harvard denied the allegations and challenged the ban in court.
US federal judge Allison Burroughs ruled on 20/6 that international students could continue their studies at Harvard. The ruling was seen as a significant victory for the university after a series of clashes with the Trump administration.
The Trump administration announced it would appeal Burroughs' ruling. However, with the new academic year in the US set to begin on 2/9, the judge's injunction against Trump's ban on international students at Harvard remained in effect, meaning that individuals like Princess Elisabeth were eligible to enter the US to continue their studies.
Princess Elisabeth, 23, the future queen of Belgium, is about to enter her second year of a master's program in public policy at Harvard. According to the university's description, this program broadens perspectives and enhances skills to prepare students for successful careers in the public sector.
