The 3.6-meter statue was placed on 3rd Street from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on 17/9, coinciding with the Federal Reserve's (FED) interest rate announcement. The investors funded the statue to "honor Trump's strong support for cryptocurrency."
According to the investment group, the statue aims to encourage discussion about cryptocurrency, monetary policy, and the federal government's role in financial markets. They also hope it will reflect public support for cryptocurrency and attract the attention of passersby.
Trump has not yet commented.

During his campaign, Trump repeatedly stated his desire to make the US the "crypto capital of the world." After taking office, he signed the Genius Act in July, establishing a legal framework for stablecoins pegged to the USD or government bonds and requiring issuing organizations to disclose their reserve assets monthly.
Trump appointed Paul Atkins, a pro-crypto entrepreneur, as Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission in April.
